AI Data Strategy PM Intern
This role goes beyond writing PRDs and creating prototypes. You’ll need to understand model capabilities and limitations, evaluation methods, and the forms agent products take, explore real business settings in depth, and break down complex tasks with domain experts. Your core deliverables will be task definitions grounded in real work, processes for collaborating with experts, and product plans that turn professional work in finance, consulting, law, and other fields into task environments and data products that support agent execution, evaluation, and iteration.
What you’ll do
- 01Work with experts in finance, law, medicine and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction, and other fields to break down expert judgment and real workflows and define agent task scenarios.
- 02Design agent evaluations and benchmarks, including tasks, metrics, scoring criteria, and acceptance criteria.
- 03Refine task designs, data standards, and evaluation approaches based on model performance, expert feedback, and customer needs.
- 04Use AI tools extensively for research, task decomposition, prototyping, data analysis, and documentation.
- 05Work with algorithm, engineering, and delivery teams to turn plans into runnable task environments, evaluation systems, and customer deliverables.
What we look for
- 01Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field; finance, economics, law, CS, and related disciplines preferred.
- 02Internship experience working on internet products, at a consulting firm, or in business analysis, with the ability to quickly understand specialized business contexts and frame them in product terms.
- 03A sustained interest in agents, large AI models, evaluation, and synthetic data.
- 04Strong task decomposition skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear workflows, discrete tasks, and criteria for judgment.
- 05Strong documentation skills and experience collaborating with experts, customers, or cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Frequent use of AI tools to improve efficiency in research, writing, analysis, and delivery, with the ability to use AI tools or simple scripts to build prototypes, process data, and create productivity tools.
- Your own perspective on the forms agent products take and the automation of real workflows.
- Ability to adapt to the pace of an early-stage startup, stay self-directed amid uncertainty, coordinate resources, and deliver results.
