Expert Platform Operations
This is not a conventional customer support or channel coordination role for an expert network. We’re looking for a product operations professional with expertise in expert network operations and an understanding of agent products and real business tasks. You’ll continually build, maintain, and operate a high-quality network of experts who can be engaged quickly across law, finance, consulting, medicine and pharmaceuticals, patents, compliance, design, operations, and other fields, supporting task definition and evaluation for our agent products. You’ll be accountable for the network’s size and quality, expert response times, the accuracy of expert-to-task matching, and the expert collaboration workflows needed for agent task definition and evaluation. You’ll turn expert sourcing, management, and engagement into standardized, repeatable, scalable operating processes.
What you’ll do
- 01Source, recruit, and onboard experts across law, finance, consulting, medicine and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and other fields, continually expanding the network’s depth and breadth.
- 02Establish systems for tiering, tagging, and evaluating experts to precisely match their professional backgrounds to specific project and task requirements.
- 03Manage expert relationships, including day-to-day communication, expert management, productivity improvements, and frameworks for long-term collaboration.
- 04Work with product, engineering, and algorithms teams to involve experts in agent task decomposition, the development of expert judgment criteria, evaluation rubric design, and related collaboration, while ensuring the quality of expert input.
What we look for
- 01A bachelor’s degree or higher in any field.
- 023+ years of operations experience in the expert network or expert consulting industry; experience at Capvision, GLG, Third Bridge, or a similar expert network platform is preferred.
- 03Familiarity with the full expert sourcing process, including sourcing channel development, background verification, and expert tiering.
- 04Strong industry awareness and the ability to quickly understand the context of different professional fields, such as law, finance, medicine, and pharmaceuticals, and assess expert fit.
- 05Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage relationships with experts and clients or internal business teams simultaneously.
- 06Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to use operational data to identify problems and improve processes, and to write expert profiles, matching reports, and compliance review records.
- 07Ability to work effectively in an early-stage startup, handle uncertainty, and proactively break down problems, step in where needed, coordinate with others, and drive results.
Nice to have
- Experience building expert network operations from 0 to 1, plus either experience independently managing a large expert pool or an established network of expert contacts.
- A basic understanding of AI, agent, and LLM applications and how expert input supports task design and model evaluation.
- Frequent use of AI tools, with the ability to improve expert sourcing efficiency, matching recommendations, workflow automation, and related work.
